Parent Link in Lacombe is a great resource!
They provide a variety of activities throughout the week for parents and their young children. They are located upstairs in the Lacombe Memorial Centre at 5214 50 avenue. Parenting After Separation
Parenting After Separation is a 6 hour course mandated by Alberta Justice for separated and/or divorcing parents with children under the age of 16.
Parents are assisted to understand the process and effects of separation and are encouraged to make positive choices about how they will continue to parent their children after separation. Held at the Red Deer Court House, there is no charge to attend, but registration for this course is mandatory. Please check the Family Services of Central Alberta website for 2014/15 dates and times the course is available and to register. Call 403 343 6400 for more information.

The Bethel Christian Reformed Church has Coffee Break, a women's group with programming for children.
"provides an opportunity for friendship and Bible Study for women of all ages and backgrounds. It is held every Wednesday morning from 9:30-11:30. No Bible knowledge is required. Nursery and Childrens Programs are provided for children up to age 5"

Wolf Creek Community Church runs Mom Time.
"Women meet Thursdays from 9:15-11:15am over coffee and snacks, to get to know each other and God better. On alternate weeks we do a study or we have a speaker or a special project of interest. While the moms are having their special morning, the pre-school children are cared for either in a nursery or being taught in “Kid Time” by loving, caring women."
